What are you doing for your holiday cards this year?

Can you believe that its time to start thinking about holiday cards this year? Do you know what you're doing yet? Are you dreading trying to get the family together, smiling and posing for a photo that you try to take yourself? Is it really worth the trouble and aggravation?

What if you could have someone else take that photo? AND design your holiday cards?

I have a few spots available during my Holiday Card Mini Sessions on Saturday, October 20th and Sunday, November 4th.

Saturday, October 20th - Loch Haven Park just north of downtown Orlando
Sunday, November 4th - Rollins College in Winter Park

These mini sessions are $250 and include:

  • 30 minute photo session of your family or your kids

  • 15-20 proofs to choose from

  • web-based slideshow of all your proofs

  • Your choice of either 50 designed holiday cards OR one high resolution digital negative (so you can make any quantity of your own prints)

  • 1 11x14" print

  • 2 5x7" prints

  • 1 set of wallets

The product value alone of this package is between $300 - $350.

And, if you want to include your favorite furry friend in your photos, both locations are pet friendly.

You can see my 2007 holiday designs here and here.

Email me at karenleslie@mac.com or call me at 407.340.8088 if you want to reserve a spot in a mini session.

7 Month Old Cutie

I've been able to photograph this little cutie since even before he was born. Mom and Dad came to me just a few months before he was born and we did some maternity photos. Then, 6 days after he was born, we did newborn photos. Mom loved them so much she signed up for my Watch Me Grow package (see below) and we did his 3 month and now his 7 month photos. It's so much fun to watch your clients grow right in front of your camera. :)

I'm still laughing at how adorable he looks in his Halloween costume!

Watch Me Grow

The Watch Me Grow package is a series of 4 photo sessions that take place in your home over a 12 month period. It is perfect for a child's first year of life, but can be used for any age. You choose when we do the 4 sessions (typically once every 3 months) and the location for the sessions (your home or another location). You get a $50 credit to be used after each session. The cost of this package is only $600, which is a considerable savings off of a single photo session. Contact me today to book this package.

More Newborn Goodness

There must be something in the water because I've had a lot of newborn sessions lately. I'm not complaining though ... I LOVE to do them. :) Enjoy in the latest adorable newborn.

If you know anyone who is going to have a baby soon, please send them my way. I have a maternity-newborn special where you get two photo sessions (a maternity and a newborn) for one price of $350. That is $100 off the cost of two sessions purchased separately. It's a great deal!

Family

I had the pleasure of photographing this great family last weekend.

The Funny Thing About Technology

The funny thing about technology is that when it works, its truly a time-saving tool. When it doesn't work, it causes lots of problems.

I just found out this morning that the Contact form on my website hasn't been working. I'm really not sure how long this has been going on -- hours? weeks? days? Unfortunately I have no idea how many people have tried to contact me through the form.

So, if you have contacted me through the Contact Form on my website and haven't heard back, please accept my apologies. And, can you please email me directly to my email address? karenleslie@mac.com. Or you can call me at 407.340.8088.

I'm a huge stickler for good customer service, so something like this is quite upsetting to me. Again, apologies to everyone impacted.

Thank you!

Karen

Newborn Goodness

The fall portrait season has arrived and is keeping me very busy. I'm afraid that I've neglected my blog lately. I've had a lot of great sessions lately that I haven't shared with you and I'm going to try to catch up in the next week.

Here's one that I just loved because this family had so much love in it. :)
